I’m in Bull Terriers since 1986. Starting with a male from the Didimos kennel. The owner of this kennel was Mr. Thomas Steins, at that time chairman of the NBTC. Our first dog was a grandson of the famous Ch. Steadfast Thomas of Hardra. A year later a bitch came into our house from the Chacoriki kennel. She was a granddaughter of the Ch. Silver Convention.
Since 1992 I have my own prefix. The name is “Kingsfarm’s”. I became this name from my good friend and mentor Jan van Iperenburg sr. He started this kennel in 1960.
I’m not a big breeder in quantity because I have had 10 litters in all these years. For me, the most imported thing is health and character. Of course I’m also looking for beauty. I bred 13 champions in this litters. I also imported one from Scotland named Ch. Majico Dance Party. I imported several dogs from the UK and bitch from the USA. She became a champion and has a UK studbook number.
I served in the committee of the Dutch Bull Terrierclub since 1997. Since 2003 as the treasurer, Chairman since 2009. In 2018 I retired after serving 21 years.
Since 1997 I was in the organization of four shows every year. Once a year a championship show, an open/ throphyshow and one puppy show, and of course the country competition in Holland. I’m the founder of this event and did this show 13 times in a row. I’m an honorary member of the Dutch Bull Terrier Club (N.B.T.C.) And I’m rewarded with the silver medal of honor from the Dutch Kennel Club. I started judging Bull Terriers in 2005. I have judged in several countries such as Italy, Denmark, Australia, Canada, and England. In October 2020 I passed the breed exam for the Bull Terrier and Miniature Bull Terrier.
